Goodwin Procter was founded in Boston in 1912 by Robert Eliot Goodwin and Joseph Osborne Procter, Jr. It now has offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia, working closely with clients to advance their business objectives. Their London office was originally opened in 2008. They advise on private equity, venture capital, mezzanine debt and infrastructure funds and other investment vehicles, as well as M&A and leveraged/financing transactions together with specialist compliance, regulatory and tax advisory work.
