UK Private Capital’s representative work is focused on private equity and venture capital fund managers aligned with our code of conduct. Agreement to abide by our code of conduct is a condition of membership. For members with different or additional investment strategies, our representative work only covers their private equity and venture capital strategies that are aligned with our code of conduct, subject to limited exceptions that may be agreed from time to time by the Council of UK Private Capital.

The latest Annual Review highlights the wide-ranging issues the association has addressed on behalf of the industry over the past 12 months, as well as detailing how we have supported the development of the industry through events, training and other activities.
Following approval by members at our Annual General Meeting, the BVCA has adopted a new name: UK Private Capital.
