Maven Capital Partners was established in June 2009 following a management buyout by the senior executives of the Private Equity team at Aberdeen Asset Management PLC. Maven operates from a nationwide network of six regional offices, and manages a diverse range of client funds, including six VCTs, the Scottish Loan Fund and the Greater Manchester Loan Fund.
Maven is an independent alternative asset manager, investing primarily in established UK companies, typically valued at up to £25 million. They provide flexible funding packages for entrepreneurial businesses, normally committing between £2 million and £10 million of finance in a single transaction.
