About

The Scottish Investment Bank is the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise.
Scottish Investment Bank (SIB) aims to increase the supply of finance, and to help more Scottish SMEs with growth and export potential access it. SIB operates across Scotland in partnership with Highlands and Islands Enterprise. SIB's funds co-invest into Scottish small to medium businesses with high growth potential. They do this alongside private sector investors in an innovative shared risk model, on equal terms. Investments start from £10,000, with total deal sizes of up £10 million.
The Scottish Investment Bank's activities support the delivery of the wider Scottish Enterprise business plan by stimulating the SME funding market in Scotland. They work with both Scottish SMEs and UK and international investors to stimulate deal flow in Scotland.
