This edition of the Policy and Technical Update covers the Autumn Budget announcements including Founders’ Relief, the changes to BADR and EMI2. We also provide updates on numerous tax consultations such as payments on account, US LLCs and close company payments to participators. We also highlight our call for proportionate fund reporting under FRAME and our calls on clarity of HMT's draft AIFM regulations. We also discuss our work on regulatory sandboxes, including giving evidence on the utility of sandboxes in financial services to the House of Lords FSRC, and responding to a DBIST request for feedback on a potential sandbox addressing ECCTA identity verification requirements. Finally, we highlight ILPA’s new continuation vehicle guidance, the Government’s upcoming consultation on the use of non-compete clauses and the launch of our new UK Venture Capital ESG template.
