LP Firms: This course is designed for LPs within the private capital industry.
Individuals: Ideal for professionals who are new to investment teams (LP), typically with 0–2 years of experience.
All delegates that have completed or are enrolled in our Foundation courses (Flagship, VC and LP) are automatically a part of the Foundation Alumni Community.
Please arrive with plenty of time to register. Breakfast will be provided, along with lunch and refreshments, and a drinks reception will be held at the end of day 1. The course will kick off with introductions, followed by content from multiple speakers as outlined in the agenda.

Course Director
Simon Faure is the Managing Director of IH International Advisors. Prior to joining IHIA in 2021, Simon spent 16 years at M&G Investment’s private equity team. Simon has over 25 years’ experience investing in private equity and over 27 years' investment experience in total.
Simon has a History degree from University of Southampton.

Dana Haimoff, Managing Director, joined the Private Equity Group in 2002. Dana is a Portfolio Manager responsible for sourcing, due diligence, leading investment recommendations and monitoring private equity funds, co-investments and secondary opportunities.
Currently, Dana serves on numerous private equity fund and direct co-investment advisory committees. Prior to joining the Group, she spent six years with Merrill Lynch working with alternative asset funds and initiating, developing and servicing new and existing client accounts. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Dana worked at Prudential Securities in the Corporate Finance Group’s private equity practice and at Ernst & Young as an International Tax Consultant. She earned a BS from Skidmore College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Dana is the co-Founder of Level 20, a not-for-profit organization set up to encourage women to succeed in the private equity industry. She is a member of the British Venture Capital Association’s Limited Partner Committee. Dana is a director on the board of JPMorgan Asset Management International Ltd and JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Ltd and is responsible for the firm’s SMCR’s EMEA Alternatives.
Founder & CEO, Danesmead Advisory
Daniella is the Founder and CEO of Danesmead Advisory, providing sustainability services to alternative investment funds. She is Chair of the PRI Hedge Fund Advisory Committee and a member of AIMA’s Responsible Investment Working Group. Prior to starting Danesmead Advisory, Daniella led the ESG Committee at Arrowgrass Capital Partners. She sat on Arrowgrass’ Business Committee and managed the launch of a socially responsible investment vehicle, PRI reporting, carbon offsetting and representing Arrowgrass on the PRI Relative Value Hedge Fund Working Group.
Daniella started her career at Goldman Sachs working primarily in the Hedge Fund Consulting team in Prime Brokerage. Danesmead Advisory provides sustainability services for investment managers and corporates, specialising in private equity and hedge funds. Their offering includes alignment with regulatory and voluntary sustainable finance frameworks, implementation, compliance, due diligence, and reporting and they provide knowledge, experience, and resource in this rapidly evolving space. Danesmead Advisory was established in 2020 and has developed a global client base of alternative investment managers representing over $1tn in AUM.
While Danesmead Advisory are passionate about sustainability, they strike a careful balance between ambition and remaining commercial and help their clients focus on what’s important without disrupting their core business.

David Ambler advises leading international fund managers and institutional investors on co-investments, primary investments and secondary market purchases of interests in investment funds, with an industry focus on private equity, real estate, and infrastructure. He also counsels clients on private investment fund structuring, formation and operation.
ESG & Sustainability Manager, YFM Equity Partners
Finlay Taylor is an ESG & Sustainability Manager at YFM Equity Partners. YFM have been backing UK SMEs since 1982 with £3–£15M growth & buyout capital. My role focuses on identifying value creation opportunities for our portfolio through the lens of ESG, including materiality assessments and road-mapping. Prior ESG experience held at Holtara (PE sustainability consultancy) and Furthr (a carbon accountancy and employee engagement start up).
Partner & Head of Primaries, Pantheon
Imogen Richards is a Partner and Head of Primaries in Pantheon’s European Private Equity team and also a member of the Global Primary Committee, ESG Committee and Allocation Committee. Imogen joined Pantheon in 2005, and prior to joining the primaries team, she was a member of Pantheon’s secondary team and also headed up the Investment Structuring and Strategy division. Imogen is also on the board of Level 20 and chairs the Senior Leader’s Committee.
Prior to Pantheon Imogen worked on small and mid-market private equity and mezzanine transactions for Anglo Irish Bank. She holds a master’s degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. Imogen is based in London.
Senior Vice President, Neuberger Berman
Mario Giuliani is a Senior Vice President at Neuberger Berman Private Equity. Prior to joining NB Private Equity in 2016, Mr. Giuliani worked in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS Investment Bank in London where he advised clients on major M&A and capital markets transactions. Mr. Giuliani graduated with highest honors from Bocconi University with an MSc in Finance and with highest honors from University of Trento with a BS in Economics and Management.
Managing Director, Cambridge Associates
Petros Krappas is a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates. He is based in our London office and is a member of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Research Team. His responsibilities include identifying and monitoring investment firms and their portfolio companies, as well as carrying out due diligence. Additionally, Petros is responsible for analysing market conditions and tracking the private equity and venture capital industry trends. Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Petros worked at a private market investor, Pathway Capital Management, where he was a Vice President with a focus on European private equity primary investments and co-investments.
Before that, he was a member of the investment team at VenCap International, a UK-based venture capital investor. Petros received a MSc in International Money, Finance, and Investments from Durham University and a BSc in Statistics from University of Piraeus. He is a CFA charterholder.
Partner, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius
Rob Mailer focuses on private investment fund formation and fundraising, representing managers and investors across a wide range of strategies, including growth, venture capital, infrastructure, debt, and buy-out. He has a particular focus on clients investing in new technologies such as artificial intelligence and fintech, and has substantial experience advising teams on spin outs and the establishment of new fund management companies, as well as on defaulting investor and on other ongoing and end-of-life funds issues.
Managing Director, Neuberger Berman
Sandeep Mirani is a Managing Director of Neuberger Berman. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman Private Equity in 2014, Mr. Mirani worked at Paul Capital in London, where he focused on secondary investments, and at Credit Suisse, where he was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group and the Global Energy group, in New York and London, respectively. Mr. Mirani graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics.
Managing Director & Head of Private Equity, M&G
Scott is a Managing Director and Head of Private Equity for M&G’s Impact & Private Equity Team. Prior to M&G, Scott oversaw diversified European and Asian private equity portfolios at Parish Capital (acquired by StepStone Group) and BancBoston Capital in London, and before that, was an investment banker with Robertson Stephens & Company in San Francisco. Scott has a BBA from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Scott is certified as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a former member of the Institutional Limited Partners Association’s Board of Directors.
Senior Portfolio Manager, British Business Bank
Sean Casey is a Senior Portfolio Manager at the British Business Bank. He works on the Enterprise Capital Funds (ECF) programme, which makes LP commitments into pre‑seed and seed‑stage first‑time and emerging fund managers. Sean specialises in portfolio management and currently oversee relationships with 22 funds. Alongside this, he support investment activities, with a particular focus on re‑ups with existing fund managers. He's been part of the ECF team for nearly three years and have worked at the Bank for seven years. During that time, he's also worked on two direct investment programmes: NSSIF and the Future Fund.
"There were some really interesting ideas that came up around team diligence and investment structures that I was able to take back to my team. Going forward we are looking to incorporate the LP Foundation course into the induction process for new team members."
