Leading businesses in Wales and the South West recognised for exceptional growth
Nodor Darts, Brand Revolution and Netomnia have won UK Private Capital Vision 2026 Awards for Wales and the South West.
Sponsored by Grant Thornton and Santander, these annual awards honour the management teams of companies backed by private equity and venture capital, recognising the companies and their investors in different investment stages and across three categories:
Medium:
Nodor Darts, backed by Inflexion and based in Bridgend, was chosen as the winner in the Medium category. Nodor Darts is the global market leader in premium darts, dartboards and accessories. The judging panel highlighted how investment from Inflexion is helping the company scale through geographic and channel expansion.
Large:
Netomnia, backed by Soho Square Capital and based in Tewkesbury, was chosen as the winner in the Large category. Netomnia is a wholesale fibre provider operating the UK’s fourth-largest full fibre network. Judges praised the company’s rapid growth with the support of Soho Square Capital, allowing Netomnia to roll out its network across the UK, offering faster and more affordable internet access.
International Expansion:
Brand Revolution, based in Cornwall and backed by Beechbrook Capital, was chosen by the judges as the winner in the International Expansion category. Brand Revolution is a global marketing and advertising agency operating multiple offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The judges noted how investment from Beechbrook Capital had turbocharged its expansion into new markets including Germany, Belgium, Hong Kong and the USA.
The awards were announced during UK Private Capital's Invest Forum in Bristol which featured the publication of new research on the impact of private capital investment in the South West.
The report found that investment by private equity and venture capital firms into businesses in the South West was £2.8bn in 2025, and in the past five years, the industry has invested £9bn into the region.
The report also provides an in-depth look at the South West’s spinout ecosystem - companies created based on intellectual property generated through university research. Data provided by Beauhurst for the report shows that the South West boasts 148 active spinouts.
Commenting, UK Private Capital Chief Executive Michael Moore said:
“We are proud to celebrate such excellent businesses in this year’s vision awards. These businesses demonstrate the ways our industry is supporting growth and driving innovation throughout Wales and South West and all across the UK”.
Tom Brown, CEO, Nodor Group International commented:
"This award is a fantastic recognition of the hard work, dedication, and passion shown by everyone at the Nodor Group over many years, and we’re incredibly proud to receive it. From our base in Bridgend, Wales, we’ve continued to build on our strong heritage in the sport, driving innovation and international growth while staying true to the quality and craftsmanship that define our brands. We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to our investment partners at Inflexion for their continued support and belief in our vision, which has played an important role in helping us achieve this success.”
Tom Pemberton, Partner, Head of Consumer at Inflexion commented:
“We are delighted to see Nodor’s achievements recognised through this award. The business has demonstrated exceptional innovation, growth and leadership, while staying true to the values and heritage that have made it so successful. Its continued growth and market leadership reflect the ambition and commitment of the entire team, and we are proud to support them on their journey.”
Jeremy Chelot, Group CEO - Netomnia and YouFibre, commented:
"This award reflects what an exceptional team can achieve with a clear mission and the right backing behind them. Netomnia was founded on a simple but powerful conviction: that every community in the UK deserves world-class Full Fibre connectivity, not eventually, but now.
“Reaching over three million premises serviceable and more than 500,000 customers is a milestone we are truly proud of, and none of it would have been possible without Soho Square and our investors, whose trust and support from the very beginning have been fundamental to everything we have achieved. Most of all, we are grateful to the team and partners who make this mission real."
Walid Fakhry, Co-Managing Partner at Soho Square Capital, commented:
"At Soho Square Capital, we back exceptional entrepreneurs and Jeremy is a prime example. We were proud to be his original backers, partnering with him and his management team from the very beginning. Our structure is designed to enable founders and management teams to retain and maximise value as they build great businesses, and Jeremy and his team have seized that opportunity.
“They set themselves an extraordinarily ambitious growth plan, executed relentlessly, and built Netomnia into the UK's second-largest alternative fibre provider. This transaction is first and foremost a reflection of what Jeremy and his team have achieved, and we are delighted it also delivers a stronger UK fibre market and a strong return for our investors."
Miles Lovegrove, Chief Finance and Integration Officer at Brand Revolution, commented:
"We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition from UK Private Capital. Over the past few years, we have focused on building a truly international, purpose led business through organic growth, strategic acquisitions and investment in our people. This award is a testament to the passion and commitment of our team, the trust of our clients, and the support of partners such as Beechbrook who have helped us accelerate our ambitions. We’re excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue to expand our capabilities and international reach."
Alan O’Dea, Investment Director at Beechbrook Capital, commented:
“Brand Revolution was the first investment from our fourth UK SME Credit Fund. We initially partnered with the business to support a bolt-on UK acquisition and subsequently provided additional capital to fund three further acquisitions as part of its international expansion strategy. This investment demonstrates Beechbrook’s partnership-led approach—backing ambitious management teams with flexible capital and ongoing support to execute transformational growth through both strategic M&A and organic expansion.”
Peter Abel, Director Growth Capital Structured & Specialist Finance at Santander, commented:
“Congratulations to Nodor Darts, Brand Revolution and Netomnia, on being recognised at the Wales and South West awards for their exceptional growth journeys.
“They represent the innovation and drive that define the region. Santander is proud to support UK Private Capital’s 2026 Vision Awards, highlighting how private capital helps businesses like these grow and succeed.”
